Product Description
Graphite braided tape is manufactured by weaving expanded graphite yarn on specialized braiding machinery. It possesses excellent high-temperature resistance and flexibility, while also maintaining a certain degree of mechanical strength.
To enhance sealing strength and improve overall sealing performance, the braided graphite tape can be reinforced with internal metal wires. It serves as an ideal substitute for asbestos-based fireproof and flame-retardant fabrics in the metallurgical industry; additionally, it can be utilized as packing material for expansion joints, valve stems, and agitator shafts. Furthermore, it is suitable for use as sealing gaskets for furnace doors. In every respect, its performance surpasses that of asbestos tape.
