Expanded graphite corrugated tape is produced by utilizing high-precision CNC lathes equipped with specialized cutting tools to slice graphite rolls into strips, which are then passed through dedicated embossing rollers to form a corrugated profile. The shape and dimensions of the corrugations can be customized to meet client specifications by employing different molds, and the grade of the graphite material used can also be selected according to requirements. For ease of application, the tape is typically supplied with an adhesive backing applied to one side. Compared to traditional graphite slitting methods, this process offers superior precision, minimizes damage to the graphite roll material, and ensures that the cut edges remain smooth and free of burrs.
