Corrugated Expanded Graphite Tape is produced using a specialized process involving a CNC lathe to precision-cut graphite rolls into
strips, which are then passed through a patterned roller to form a corrugated profile. The shape and dimensions of the corrugations
can be customized to meet client specifications by utilizing different molds; similarly, the grade of graphite used can be selected
according to specific requirements. For ease of application, the tape is typically supplied with an adhesive backing on one side.
Compared to traditional slit graphite strips, this product offers superior precision, minimizes damage to the graphite material during
processing, and features clean, burr-free cut edges.
**Performance Characteristics:**
1.Excellent resistance to both high and low temperatures.
2. Outstanding chemical corrosion resistance.
3. Good self-lubricating properties.
4. Excellent resilience and recovery.
5. Easy to use and cost-effective.
**Applicable Media:**
Hot water, high-temperature and high-pressure fluids, steam, heat exchange media, hydrogen, organic solvents, hydrocarbons,
cryogenic liquids, etc.
**Applications:**
· Corrugated graphite tape is commonly used as a facing material for metal-toothed gaskets or corrugated gaskets.
· Used as an emergency measure for on-site repairs, serving as packing material in the dynamic and static sealing sections of pumps
and valves.
· Can be directly wrapped around the shafts of pumps or valves to function as packing material.
**Common Specifications:** Standard thicknesses range from 0.25 mm to 1 mm; widths from 5 mm to 100 mm; and lengths from 5,000
mm to 20,000 mm. Special specifications or various non-standard products can be custom-manufactured according to client
requirements.
