Graphite bipolar plates are one of the core components in hydrogen fuel cells, mainly used for conducting electricity, separating
reaction gases, and supporting the membrane electrode.
1.Conductive function: As an electric current collector, it conducts the electrical energy generated within the battery;
2.Gas distribution: Hydrogen and oxygen are distributed through a precise flow channel design;
3. Structural Support: Provide mechanical support for the membrane electrode assembly (MEA).
4. Thermal Management: Helps regulate the operating temperature of the battery.
Graphite bipolar plates, due to their excellent conductivity, corrosion resistance and lightweight properties, are widely used in new
energy vehicles, distributed power generation and aerospace fields. Compared with metal bipolar plates, graphite bipolar plates have
better chemical stability and a longer service life, but their mechanical strength is slightly inferior. In the manufacturing process,
precision mechanical processing or molding is usually adopted, and the surface needs to be specially treated to reduce contact
resistance.
