What is a high-purity alumina crucible?

An industrial ceramic product commonly used in high-temperature sintering, melting and chemical analysis.

High-purity alumina crucibles are industrial ceramic products made from α-alumina as the raw material. The alumina content is ≥

99%, Fe₂O₃ ≤ 0.1%, R₂O ≤ 0.2%. They possess the characteristics of high temperature resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and

thermal shock resistance. Their long-term use temperature can reach 1600℃, and they can withstand 1800℃ for a short period. The

volume density is ≥ 3.80g/cm³, and the apparent porosity is 350MPa. They are manufactured using the injection molding process and

can be customized with straight, square, arc-shaped and other irregular structures. The capacity ranges from 5ml to 2500ml.

This crucible is suitable for laboratory analysis of metal/non-metal samples, treatment of weakly alkaline molten samples, as well as

calcination of fluorescent powders, rare earth materials, and positive electrodes of lithium-ion batteries. It is prohibited for use with

strongly alkaline substances (such as sodium peroxide, sodium hydroxide) and acidic molten environments. The main specifications

include straight-shaped crucibles with diameters ranging from 30 to 160 mm and square-shaped crucibles with side lengths ranging

from 65 to 240 mm. They are compatible with box furnaces, tube furnaces, and other equipment. They can be safely removed below

 200℃.

Characteristics of the crucible

99 porcelain is made from high-quality α-alumina as the raw material. The alumina content is generally above 99%. The 99% alumina

porcelain material is used for manufacturing high-temperature crucibles, refractory furnace tubes, and special wear-resistant

materials, such as ceramic bearings, ceramic seals, and water valve plates, etc., and is used as corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant

 components.

  1. High-purity alumina, with an alumina content greater than 99%

    2. Resistance to chemical corrosion

    3. High temperature resistance, normal use at 1600℃, short-term at 1800℃

    4. Resistance to rapid cooling and heating, not prone to cracking

    5. Moulded by injection, high density

High-purity 99% corundum ceramic crucibles are available in specifications of 5ml, 10ml, 15ml, 20ml, 25ml, 30ml, 50ml, 100ml, 150ml,

 200ml to 5000ml.
